Here's how easy it is...
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, (160°C for fan ovens), Gas Mark 4. Add all the cake ingredients into a bowl and beat (use an electric hand mixer if you have one!) until light and creamy.
  2. Cut the ends off the cones to give them a flat bottom. Place the narrow end down onto the lined baking tray. Spoon in the cake mixture and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until cooked and springy to the touch. (If a little mixture runs out this will set as soon as it cooks)
  3. While the cups are in the oven, get the topping ready. Place 1 teaspoon of yellow food colouring into the sandwich bag. Add 50g of desiccated coconut, close tightly and give a good shake until the coconut is evenly coloured.
  4. Once the cone cakes have cooled, paint with Carnation Light Condensed Milk and sprinkle with the coloured coconut. Finally, decorate with sprinkles and coloured icing pens to bring the chicks to life.
