Choc Brownie - Review

For the salted caramel:

Flaky sea salt

1/2 tsp

For the ice cream:

Whipping cream

350ml

Cocoa powder

25g

Chocolate brownie, cut into pieces

50g

You will also need:

A 900g loaf tin or freezer safe container

Step 1 of 5

For the salted caramel: Add the salt and caramel to a bowl and mix. Set aside to use later.

Step 2 of 5

For the ice cream: add the cream to a large bowl and using an electric hand whisk on medium speed, whisk the cream to soft peaks.

Step 3 of 5

Add the condensed milk and cocoa powder to the bowl and whisk again to soft peaks.

Step 4 of 5

Gently mix through the brownie pieces then decant into a freezer safe container. Pour over half the caramel and swirl through with the back of a butter knife. Save the other half of the caramel for drizzling over the ice cream later.

Step 5 of 5

Pop in the freezer for 4-5 hours or until fully frozen. When ready to serve, take out the freezer and leave to soften for 10 minutes. Drizzle each serving with the remaining salted caramel and enjoy!

If you're having trouble scooping your ice cream, carefully fill a mug or jug with hot water and dip your ice cream scoop into the water before scooping.
