We've used cardamom in our recipe as the warm, aromatic notes complement the nutty, slightly sweet flavour of pistachios beautifully.

Simplicity waltzes with sophistication in each scoop of our pistachio ice cream. This creamy dream marries the smoothness of homemade ice cream with the rich, earthy tones of pistachios, all while giving the ice cream maker a day off. Ideal for nut aficionados and dessert devotees, this easy-peasy treat is a delicious nod to the magic of top-notch ingredients and a breezy recipe. 

Pistachio - Tablet

Whipping cream

600ml

Pistachio creme 

100g

Cardamom, ground

1/2 tsp

To serve:

Salted pistachios, chopped

2 tsp

You will also need:

A 900g loaf tin or freezer safe container

Step 1 of 4

Add the cream to a large bowl and using an electric hand whisk on medium speed, whisk the cream to soft peaks. 

Step 2 of 4

Add the condensed milk, pistachio creme and cardamom then beat again to soft peaks. 

Step 3 of 4

Decant the mix into a freezer safe container and pop in to the freezer for 4-5 hours or until fully frozen. 

Step 4 of 4

When ready to serve, take out the freezer to soften for 10 minutes then scoop and enjoy!

If you're having trouble scooping your ice cream, carefully fill a mug or jug with hot water and dip your ice cream scoop into the water before scooping.
