Digestive biscuits, crushed

250g

Butter, melted

100g

Flaky sea salt

½ to 1 level tsp

Bananas

2

Carton whipping cream, whipped to soft peaks

300ml

Grated chocolate, to sprinkle

You will also need:

20cm loose-bottomed cake tin

Step 1 of 4

Put the crushed biscuits into a bowl with the melted butter. Mix it together thoroughly, then press the mixture into the base and sides of the tin. Chill for 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes.

Step 2 of 4

Simply spoon the caramel from the tin into the base and spread gently to the edges. There’s no need to beat the caramel first. Sprinke the caramel with the flaky sea salt.

Step 3 of 4

Remove the pie base from the tin. Slice the bananas and scatter them over the caramel.

Step 4 of 4

Spoon the cream on top and decorate with grated chocolate. Chill until ready to serve.
