Here's how easy it is...
  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, (160°C for fan ovens), Gas Mark 4.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, cream the butter, sugar and condensed milk until light and fluffy. Mix in the flour to make a soft dough and then mix in the chocolate chips.
  3. 3. Roll the dough into walnut size balls and place on a baking sheet, flattening them out slightly. Space well apart as they’ll spread! Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  4. This chocolate chip cookie dough will keep quite happily in the refrigerator for a week or so, or you can freeze it in balls and bake to order!

    I make these all the time and I will never make cookies now unless they are these cookies. However I do make them with 200g of butter and 200g of sugar as the extra 25g makes them every flat and runny. I also only cook them for 11 minutes

    Made these today with my 8yr old son. Very easy for him to be able to "cook" them with little interference from his mum. Lovely crisp outside and gooey chewy centre. We both agree these are the best cookies we've made so far :)

    Oh my gosh, these are wonderful, just made these, kind of freaked out at first when they seemed to be totally soft, but as they cooled they hardened so that was fine!

    Great easy cookie recipe that I made in next to no time. Given tick of approval by other half. Going to try them with caramel choc chips next time, as well as chopped macadamia nuts.

    Yum Yum Yum, I changed the chips to sugar coated chocoate pieces ( i won't mention the brand). They worked really well.

    I made these last week and "Oh My God" they are divine. I gave some to friends and am now making more as they are so crazy about them. I'm going to use dark choc chips and walnuts in half the batch.I'm sure they will be fab.

    Wowser !! Made these today and they are so scrummy. I added double quantity of choc chips and used half milk chips and half white choc chips. You can really taste the condensed milk in them ! DELICIOUS!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CHOC CHIP COOKIES, SO SO.... Used 1.5 times the choc chips as 100 grams was not enough. None of my chips poked through as seen in the picture, bit disappointed. The cookies also need less time in the oven otherwise they lose that chewy texture you need. Not a bad recipe but needs tweaking. First thing I will tweak next time is definitely less butter !
