Ice cream to change your life! This is the easiest recipe ever for ice cream – no fuss, no stirring, just delicious.

No Churn Berry Ripple Ice Cream
Delicious! Previously made ice cream with cream and eggs. The Carnation recipe is the best - so simple and only 1 bowl!
Polly

Fresh or frozen berries

400g

Juice 1 lemon

Caster sugar

55g

Carton whipping cream

600ml

Vanilla extract

1tbsp

Step 1 of 4

Cook the berries with the lemon juice and sugar in a pan until reduced by half (about 10 minutes). Cool then strain through a sieve to remove the seeds.

You can use any berries for this – try blackcurrants, blueberries or raspberries.

Step 2 of 4

Beat the cream to soft peaks then add the condensed milk and vanilla and beat again to soft peaks. Pour the ice cream into a freezable container and swirl through the berry sauce. Freeze until solid (about 3-4 hours or overnight).

Step 3 of 4

To serve leave at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving in ice cream cones!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous ice cream recipe I made this with brambles/blackberries feeling none to confident but I couldn't believe it. It was one of the nicest ice creams I have ever tasted absolutely beautiful, as nice or even nicer than the top brands, my family loved it, I'm going to try the mint one next and at Christmas try the Christmas pudding one. Thank you Carnation!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious I made this ice cream adding crushed chocolate meringue and chopped strawberries, it's delicious. Having previously made icecream using double cream and eggs, the Carnation recipe is the recipe I will use in future, it's so simple and only uses one bowl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely yummy! This was my second Carnation recipe - following the scrumptious Millionaire's Shortbread. I served it at quite a fancy dinner party with fresh raspberries from the garden, and my guests loved it.
