Here's how easy it is...
  1. Break up the Madeira cake and tip into a food processor. Blend until you have fine crumbs. Tip into a large bowl, then spoon in the Carnation Chocolate filling and topping and mix with a spoon until evenly combined.
  2. Pour your decorating sprinkles onto small bowls. Roll tablespoon size portions of the cake mixture into round balls and then drop onto the sprinkles. Give them a shake to coat the ball and then place onto a clean tray suitable for the fridge.
  3. Press a lolly pop stick or skewer into each coated ball and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until they are firm to touch.
  4. If you don't have a food processor you can still make these delicious treats! Rub the cake on the finer side of a grater to create the crumbs.

Just made these using a failed ginger cake from the freezer, chopped up crystallized ginger, a smidgen of Tia Maria and then rolled in a mixture of cocoa powder and icing sugar. Voila! Chocolate Truffles.
