Macaroni Cheese

Quick and easy Macaroni cheese for the whole family to enjoy!

  • 150ml Water
  • 300g macaroni
  • 30g cornflour
  • 100g Reduced fat mild cheddar cheese, grated
  • 410g Evaporated Milk
  • Serve with mixed salad
  • 1 bag mixed salad leaves
  • 250g cherry tomatoes
  • 15ml balsamic vinegar

Here's how easy it is...
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, (160°c for fan ovens), gas mark 4.
  2. Cook the macaroni as per instructions.
  3. Whilst pasta is cooking, make the Carnation white sauce. Pour the Carnation Evaporated Milk into a non-stick saucepan and bring to a simmer. Stir constantly. Mix the corn flour with 150ml water. Pour into the simmering evaporated milk and allow to boil for 1 minute until thickened.
  4. Combine the cooked pasta with the white sauce in the oven proof dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
