Pepper Sauce

Spice it up with our pepper sauce, great poured over steak or chicken for those special meals.
Serves: 4
  • 1tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, very finely diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 50ml white wine
  • 1 beef stock pot
  • 2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 170g Carnation Evaporated Milk
  • Serve with
  • A perfectly cooked beef steak

Here's how easy it is...
  1. In a non-stick frying pan, sauté the onions and garlic in the oil on a low heat until glassy and cooked.
  2. Pour in the white wine and let it bubble until it has almost disappeared and the alcohol has cooked off.
  3. Add in the black pepper, beef stock pot and Carnation Evaporated Milk. Allow to simmer until it begins to thicken.
  4. For a smooth sauce pour through a coarse sieve.
