Carnation's Top Tips

Condensed Milk Tips

  • Make a deliciously creamy rice pudding by replacing some of the fresh milk with Carnation Condensed Milk. The Carnation Condensed Milk caramelises to a golden, sticky topping.
  • Mix Carnation Condensed Milk and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice into cream cheese for a luscious cake frosting.

Condensed Milk Light Tips

  • Make a deliciously light treat by mixing a little Carnation Condensed Milk Light into natural or 0% fat Greek yoghurt. Top with fresh fruit and sprinkle over your favourite cereal. Finish with a drizzle of Carnation Condensed Milk.
  • For a fresh and easy dessert, simply slice some fruit such as plums or apricots and drizzle generously with Carnation Condensed Milk Light. Place under a hot grill until brown and bubbling. Break amaretti or crushed ginger biscuits on top to finish.

Caramel Tips

  • Carnation caramel is delicious when spread on top of sponge cakes or covering a layer of shortbread or even on hot toast!
  • For a quick, smooth caramel sauce simply whisk the contents of the can for 1-2 minutes with an electric hand whisk.

Squeezy Caramel Tips

  • Some friends round? Why not pop-your-own-corn! Allow 25g popping corn per person. Lightly oil a very large pan, add corn and set over medium heat holding the lid in place. Stay there, shaking the pan, until the popping stops then drizzle the warm popcorn with Squeezy Carnation Caramel.
  • Ripple effect: slightly soften a carton of vanilla or strawberry soft scoop ice cream and fold Squeezy Carnation Caramel through roughly to ripple it. Return to the freezer. Serve layered up in tall glasses topped with sliced strawberries and toasted almonds or pecans.
