CARNATION Ultimate Pudstar
  1. The competition is open to UK residents, aged 18 and over, with the exception of employees of Nestlé UK Ltd, their immediate families, agents or anyone else associated with the administration or production of this promotion.
  2. The winner will film a Pudcast with celebrity chef Phil Vickery to be aired March 2010, featuring their recipe as selected by Nestlé UK Ltd. Entrants must have flexible availability in February in order to organise a date for Pudcast filming
  3. The closing date for entries is 31st December 2009.
  4. A judging panel comprising key representatives of Nestlé UK Ltd, together with Phil Vickery, will select a shortlist of best recipes from which the final winning entry will be chosen. Entrants will be judged on their entertaining presentation style and the most appetising and visually appealing recipe, as well as adherence to the requirement that the pudcast contains CARNATION product(s) and is not more than 5 minutes long, with the best entry being declared the winner.
  5. The winner will be contacted via telephone by 31st January 2010.
  6. There is no cash alternative to the prize stated and the prize is non-transferable.
  7. Submitted clips should be no more than 5 minutes long. Entries can be submitted via email as an attachment to carnation@munroforster.com, or sent by mail as a DVD to CARNATION Ultimate Pudstar Competition, Munro & Forster Communications 89 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TP. Short-listed entries will be uploaded to Youtube for streaming to the CARNATION website, to enable viewing of entries online.
  8. Entrants whose Pudcast uses recipes directly sourced from celebrity chefs other than Phil Vickery will not be accepted.
  9. Any entries containing defamatory, obscene or offensive content will not be featured on the website and will be disqualified.
  10. Any entries which directly display brands other than Nestlé CARNATION or from the Nestlé portfolio will not be accepted.
  11. Any entries which include music which is not of the entrant’s own composition will not be accepted.
  12. By entering the competition, you agree to your clip being uploaded to the CARNATION website via Youtube. You also agree to take part in promotional interviews and/or have your name featured in relevant media should your entry be short-listed or declared the winner.
  13. Where more than one person is featured in the clip, the person submitting the clip will be deemed to be the ‘entrant’ and, if chosen as the winner, will receive the prize. By submitting the clip Nestlé CARNATION will assume that all parties featured in the film give their consent.
  14. Prize includes rail travel (or flights in the case of winners from Scotland or Ireland) to the filming of the Pudcast in central London for the winner and one other person, one night’s shared hotel accommodation in a double/twin room with en-suite facilities, on a bed and breakfast basis; £250 for additional expenses; a years supply of assorted CARNATION products up to a value of £50 (supplied to the winner in four batches, every three months, commencing February 2010 by a representative of Munro & Forster on behalf of the promoter, to be sent by registered mail. Each batch will contain approximately 8 assorted CARNATION products. All products supplied are at the discretion of the promoter); and a signed copy of ‘Passion for Puddings’ by Phil Vickery.
  15. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. Nestlé cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize.
  17. Nestlé is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any web site, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition.
  18. Entrants agree by entering this competition, to waive their moral rights to the material submitted and assign to the Promoter for the benefit of the Promoter and the Promoter's group of companies the worldwide copyright and other intellectual property rights in their entries for the purposes described herein and such other purposes as the Promoter deems appropriate.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to re-allocate the prize if the selected winner were to pull out or could not for any reason attend the Pudcast filming day specified. In this case, the next best entry, as judged by the panel of judges, will be upgraded to win the prize.
  20. Both the winner’s name and entry along with the short-listed entrants names and entries will be made available to view on www.carnation.co.uk from January 22 2009 until Friday 12 March 2009.
  21. In the event that no suitable pudcast entries are submitted by the due closing date, the promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition, withdrawing the main prize. Phil Vickery’s monthly pudcast would be produced in its place.
